My goal is to provide services that connect and resonate with people in some way. Through this, I hope to provide some level of healing, encouragement, or peace of mind to whomever it is I am connecting with at the time.

Hi, I'm Maggie(:
✨Musician / Artist / Healer / Intuitive / Medium✨
I have always been a creative and intuitive person. From a young age, I was absolutely fascinated by all things mystical and metaphysical.
After struggling with my own health issues and personal losses as a teenager, I began to more seriously explore alternative ways of healing (physically, mentally, emotionally, & spiritually).
Roughly a decade later I started putting these discoveries into practice in 2020 by offering Reiki healings and Tarot readings to friends and family. I am dedicated to continuously learning, expanding, and refining my techniques in an effort to bring as much healing and peace as I can to all I connect with (in and out of my practice).
Though I am based in south Louisiana, USA, I offer all my services online via Zoom.
Please reach out if you have any questions using the contact form below, and I look forward to working with you! 💖

What is Energy Healing?
To understand energy healing, there first has to be an acknowledgment and acceptance that we (humans) are more than just our physical bodies.
This has somewhat come into mainstream consciousness thanks to the acceptance of the importance of our mental & emotional health (demonstrating that yes, we are physical bodies but what we think and feel is just as important to our overall health as what we eat and drink, etc.).
The next step is then acknowledging or entertaining the thought that there is more beyond that:
Feel free to do your own research, but there are plenty of sources that discuss the energy field of the human body (which some may refer to as the “aura” while others will call it the “electro-magnetic field” or the “biofield”). Note: this is also where the chakras or “energy centers” come into play. This energy field reflects and influences our overall vitality, as well as our physical, mental, and emotional health.
Beyond that (or within that energy field I should say), there is also a spiritual (or if that’s too far a reach, then an energetic) consciousness that exists within each of us. Some people will define this aspect as soul or spirit, while others will refer to this simply as consciousness or the higher consciousness.
(Dr. Joe Dispenza, Master Stephen Co, & the World Pranic Healing website are a few great starting resources for more information on these concepts.)
Energy Healing is essentially working primarily with the energy field and its energy centers (or “chakras”) through the direct communication of higher consciousnesses between client and practitioner. The focus is often to help restore balance within the energy field which then allows the physical body to do what it does best: heal & regenerate itself.
Energy healing can take shape in many forms (such as Reiki, Pranic Healing, Light Language, Shamanism, QHHT, frequency healing, etc.) and each practice will vary depending on the practitioner. Just like it is important to shop-around for a primary care physician and a personal therapist due to each practitioner’s individual outlooks, bed-side manner, and practices, the same is true for the field of energy healing and its practitioners. Not everyone will resonate with everyone and that’s okay! It is important to trust yourself and see who and what feels right and best for you.
*Note: Energy Healing does not and should not take the place of professional medical practices and medicine. When used, energy healing should always be used in addition to any medical advice and guidance from your doctor or healthcare professional, as a complementary practice. Just as a mental health practitioner cannot take the place of an orthopedic surgeon, the same is true for the field of energetic and spiritual healing. Each aspect of our existence is important in its own right and must be looked after in that way.
All practices may, however, work together to offer a complete and holistic approach to healing and self-care.
What Can I Expect in an Energy Healing Session?
I use primarily Reiki & Light Language in my healing sessions. (See the following FAQ for more info on these modalities.)
Whether we meet in-person or over Zoom, this is what a Energy Healing session with me will look like:
- First, we’ll briefly discuss any specific area you would like to be addressed (this can be physical, mental, emotional, etc.) and then I will ask you to get comfortable (sitting or lying down) while closing your eyes, if you so choose.
- I will then tune-in with your energy field and what I call your “Spiritual Team” (you may call this your guides, guardian angels, loved ones, or just a larger part of your higher consciousness that is present in your energy field) to see where to first focus and direct my attention and (Source) energy.
- This next part may look and sound a bit silly if you are unfamiliar, but I will wave my hands in specific motions and speak or sing specific sounds and tones that will help to break-up, dispel, repair, mend, or energize parts of your energetic field. I will walk you through what I am doing in the moment and alternate between being silent and speaking/singing. (I will also sometimes have soothing music playing in the background, if you are comfortable with that.)
During the healing session you may experience some slight tingling, sensations of being hot or cold, lots of yawning, or some people experience seeing different colors with their eyes closed during the session. Alternatively, some people don’t experience anything during the session but notice that they feel lighter or more relaxed afterwards. Everyone experiences energy healing differently and there is no “right” or “wrong” here.
- After I have completed the channeling/healing, and before we part ways, we will take a few minutes to discuss anything that came up during the healing and/or any extra messages I received from your Spiritual Team. *** It is a good idea to have some water nearby to drink after the session as this will help to ground your energies. ***
Note: After the session, you may have some physical, mental, or emotional flare-ups in the following 24-48 hours. This is completely normal and a natural part of the healing process. Energy moves faster than our physical bodies do which is why things may come up after the session and not during it. That said, it’s important to remember that things come to the surface to be cleared away, and that is all that is happening in these moments. So be gentle with yourself and know you are safe and all is well.(:
What is Reiki & Light Language?
In my energy healing sessions, I often use both of these practices simultaneously.
Reiki & Light Language are different practices/modalities that can fit under the umbrella term of “Energy Healing.” In both modalities, the practitioner acts simply as an intuitive channel that allows high-vibrational energy to flow from Source/Spirit/God/Angels to the client. In all energy healing, it is the client who is doing the actual healing. The practitioner is just the channel or “messenger” to help direct the energy to where it needs to go.
It is very similar to the relationship between a teacher and a student. The teacher can present all the knowledge and information they want, but ultimately what is learned in any teaching scenario is whatever the student is receptive towards and chooses to accept & receive. Likewise, you are in charge of your own healing process. The more receptive and open you are, the more information (or energy) you are able to receive.
REIKI:
"Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy." - excerpt from reiki.org

LIGHT LANGUAGE:
Light Language is a channelling of energy from Spirit/Source/God/Angels, etc. that can come through in many forms (though for me, it primarily comes through in sounds that sound like I’m speaking gibberish as well as some occasional singing).
“Light language communicates directly with the energetic and subtle layers of your being, bypassing the analytical mind. Each sound and tone carries information that may support shifts in awareness, energy, and integration on a soul and energetic level.” - Light Resonance’s store website

How Does Distant Healing Work?
It is not magic or anything far-out and mystical. The answer according to Spiritual and Eastern Medicine practices is Oneness, while Quantum Physicists will say it is the concept of Quantum Entanglement.
Essentially, since everything is energy at its core, it would then follow logically that everything is connected and inseparable (or as they say in the spiritual realm, everything is One or there is only Oneness). Because if everything is energy, that would imply that there is nothing that is not energy…meaning, nothing can be separated from this mass pool of energy that is expressing as itself in different forms (such as sound, light, physical matter, thoughts, vibrations, etc.). It’s all energy at its core, so it’s all one thing.
For distance healing, all that's really happening is I'm focusing my attention and energy on my client (and they are connecting with me as well, energetically). And through the concept of Oneness or Quantum Entanglement, we can work together as if we are in the same room because we are working energetically or via the energetic field. . .and there is no time and space when it comes to pure energy.
For more relatable examples of this concept:
- Have you ever experienced the sensation of thinking of someone and then they just so happen to immediately call or text you? OR
- Maybe you were on the phone with someone going through a hard time and you told them you were "sending them a hug through the phone" and they said they could "feel" it even though they are physically far away from you? OR
- Have you ever walked into an empty room and felt something was “off” and later learned a reason that justified that feeling?
All of that is your ability to experience energy that is happening (or has happened) over long physical distances or periods of time. It is no different to what is experienced in Distant Healing (other than the energies we're working with are perhaps more intentional and specific to healing).
What Questions Should I Ask or Not Ask For My Tarot Reading?
I find it’s best to avoid “yes” or “no” questions as most scenarios in our lives are more nuanced than that. Furthermore, tarot is better for providing advice and guidance rather than telling someone what they “should” or “should not” do.
- Please also avoid specific medical or legal questions, as I am not a doctor or a lawyer and am not qualified to give counsel in those ways.
Isn't Tarot "Bad" or "Evil"?
Simply put: No, tarot is not at all inherently bad or evil. It is a deck of cards; and it can be used as a tool for connection, insight, and guidance. Like most all inanimate objects on our planet, it comes down to the person who is utilizing said object and that particular person’s understanding and intention behind the use.
What I like & appreciate about Tarot and why I use it:
Tarot is a great tool for storytelling and for delivering more complex messages. This is because the tarot is a deck of 78 cards where each card carries a specific message and meaning. For example, the first 22 cards of the tarot —The Major Arcana— each represent a stage of the Hero’s Journey:
- 0. The Fool is the naive yet brave beginner who is beginning a journey without knowing exactly what’s in store.
- XIII. Death represents endings and transformations —because nothing can change if everything always stays the same and operates exactly as it always has.
- XVII. The Star is about hopes, dreams, aspirations and that moment of relief and renewal that comes after finally completing a challenging task.
The remaining 56 cards —The Minor Arcana— each represent a different aspect of the human experience in our day-to-day lives and it is sorted into 4 suits to help organize these different aspects (i.e. Pentacles=physical; Cups=emotional; Swords=mental; Wands=creativity/spirit):
- The 7 of Pentacles is about planting seeds and patiently waiting for a crop to come to fruition.
- The 5 of Cups talks about grief & loss while also nodding to the importance of gratitude for what is still present in life.
- The 2 of Swords is about not clearly seeing what’s right in front of you, while learning to trust your inner voice and intuition for guidance.
And while each card carries its own meaning, that meaning or “story” begins to shift and change once paired with other cards (just like any scenario does once more details and/or background information is added —it creates a fuller picture). This is why I find tarot to be such a useful tool!
Do You Believe in God, Angels, and Heaven?
The short & simple answer: Yes!
The more nuanced answer: Yes, though I may refer to them with different words & names that resonate more with me and my current understanding of the world, existence, and the universe. Additionally, my definitions of the above mentioned terms vary from my traditional catholic upbringing. I still see it all as the same thing, I just look at it through a slightly different lens now.
But, usually, when people ask this question they are using it more so as a metric to determine someone’s association with Light & Goodness & Good Moral Principles, etc. — to which I, personally, believe I operate in and with fully.
However, you are obviously free to make your own judgment call on that, if you’d like.
